• Biography

• LICHIBAN is a visual artist, illustrator and creative director. She was born in a border city in Hungary and from early on she acquired a fascination with borders, limits and ambiguous dividing lines; her experiences on the margins of cities, countries and subcultures eventually formed into a semi-consistent life philosophy, which continues to inspire her creative journey. Her images draw inspirations from a wide range of extraordinary life experiences and impressions, such as her childhood memories of folktales, comic books and animations, her studies in Sufism & Buddhist Tantrism, her travels to war-torn countries and from meeting exceptional people. She has taken on the challenge to create a visual language that is iconic and charged with meaning drawing inspiration from dream memories, travel experiences, music, comics & animations, spirituality, symbolism, surrealism, erotic illustration and street art, among many other things. She has exhibited her work in New York, Miami (Art Basel), Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston, Albequerque, Minneapolis, and in Wilmington and has participated at various live art events in New York City. She has been featured in Younity’s HEART & SOUL Book, Brooklyn Community Access TV, CLAM Magazine (France), Universe Magazine (Japan), TRACE Magazine blog, Liberating Style Magazine, PEP! • On Sunday, we have another spectacular line-up of music & art, and the festivities get started just around the time the parade ends.  Sunday's DJs & performers will take us on a bit of a different trip with a little more electro, a hip hop beat, or two and of course that big pop remix, but we're not trying to categorize Mr. Tedd Patterson. That would be impossible. When Tedd steps to the decks a true musical journey will begin. Those who are familiar with his sets understand what to expect- a perfectly selected fusion of many dance music genres, and even a little bit of the unexpected.  Tedd's long running residency at NYC's Cielo is a mainstay in the dance music community and a place where dance music aficionados gather every month to experience Tedd's creative, dynamic sets.  On the other hand, if you like the more popular vibe in today's dance music sound, we have plenty of that as well. We're pleased to have Ms. Chaisley Lussier playing with us for the first time, Chaisley will be joining us from Philadelphia where she's been creating a name for herself with her many talents. Though she hales from the city of brotherly love , NYC has a lot of love for Chaisley too. You can find her playing at some of the cooler spots around town quite regularly. Next to take the stage will be AFP favorite Kevin Graves.
